The Dome Building Community Coalition is a growing alliance of organizations, residents, and leaders working together to preserve and reimagine one of Salem’s most iconic historic landmarks — the Dome Building.
Once a hub of civic engagement and innovation, the Dome Building now stands at a crossroads. Rather than see this symbol of our city’s past fall into disuse or decay, we believe it should serve once again as a vibrant center for public good. We envision the Dome Building as a multifunctional community center — a place where youth programs, family support services, historic preservation, and nonprofit collaboration come together under one roof. A space that honors our history while meeting the pressing needs of today. Preserving History. Empowering Community. Inspiring the Future. |
